About Dr. Christine E. Roenitz, DMD

Dr. Christine E. Roenitz strives for excellence in every aspect of patient care.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Roenitz is very familiar with the lifestyle and culture of the people who live here in southern Wisconsin. That’s what brought her back to the Midwest after her training. She started her journey at the University of Iowa where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in communication studies.

Dr. Roenitz moved to the East Coast to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, ME. Afterwards, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Veteran’s Administration Western Iowa-Nebraska Health Care System. It was there that she decided she wanted to further her education doing a three-year Prosthodontic residency at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she also received a Master of Science (MS) in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Roenitz has held faculty and hospital positions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. There, she taught post-graduate dentistry and treated patients in both the dental office and operating room settings.

Having been involved in research since her undergraduate training, her interests include topics in cleft lip and palate genetics, dental anxiety, sleep apnea education in dental schools, and virtual dental record precision. Dr. Roenitz’s work has been published in the Journal of Prosthodontics, one of dentistry’s most respected journals.

Dr. Roenitz’s professional affiliations include the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), American Dental Association (ADA), Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), and the Greater Dane Dental Society (GDDS).

When Dr. Roenitz is out of the office she enjoys spending time with her Fiancée, Paul, a UW-Madison Alum and die-hard Badger and Packer football fan. Her hobbies include baking, swimming, yoga and playing with her cats, Basil and Brie.

Dr. Roentiz is an active member of:

• American College of Prosthodontists (ACP)
